To claim that 'oot' is a Scottish word meaning 'out' is hilarious. 'oot' is NOT a word. The unfortunate consequence of this, is that people playing 'Words with friends' will start speaking in a Scot's accent.

It's a valid English Scrabble word, and has been for years. At least since I started playing in 2004. --Mglovesfun (talk) 10:50, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
