I suggest that open-mindedness cannot exist if some one beliefs that he/she is conclusively correct. The open-mind only exists in the realm of objectivity, and the realm of objectivity only exists within a greater realm where nothing can be answered conclusively (i.e. there are no answers). Therefore, accepting something as that one originally contests is not true "open-mindedness."
