Can't this adjective also apply to a person? Meaning, a person of very great insight? --Connel MacKenzie 06:57, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I think so - probably just depends on how it's used I guess. I understand it like, "Your perspicuous explanation on preventing online scams was very helpful." I guess one could also say, "You're a perspicuous person." True lucidity 10:22, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

perspicacious[edit]

I feel "perspicacious" would refer more directly to a person who sees clearly, while "perspicuous" may be reserved to a clear explanation or argument. Sakaly Sakaly, Sep08
