Isn't "programmer" the more correct form and "programer" the variation? Why go to the trouble of reversing the redirection?

Older sense?[edit]

Chambers 1908 defines this word as "one who makes up a programme". I don't think they can have been talking about computers, TV or even radio back then; what else could it be? An orchestral programme of music for a performance? Equinox 19:45, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
