Scalene triangle isn't really a noun. It's a combination of an adjective (scalene) and a noun (triangle). Any ideas on how to mark such combinations? Maybe as Adjective + Noun? D.D. 11:10 May 12, 2003 (UTC)

  • I thought it may be considered a "noun phrase" a combination of words referring to one object. Overtime some of these become compound words like "snowplow" in English. maybe we could just name them noun phrase words. User:ILVI
