Would someone be able to verify "sift" and "sieve" as related words? (and from there... Russian сыпать, which has sense overlap as well supposed etymology with просеять derived from сеять, which, in turn has sense overlap with Latin "supo" [probably making PIE seyp/seyb an elaboration of "seh" with sense evolution something like scatter--> pour out, drip out])— This unsigned comment was added by J'odore (talkcontribs).
