Etymology[edit]

The etymology added in 2010 by User:Leasnam is very specific but unsourced, and has been quoted and critiqued at Language Log. It should probably say Scottish Gaelic gd rather than Irish Gaelic ga, and with a big perhaps at the start. User:Rwxrwxrwx in 2012 changed the etymon from spré to spraoi, possibly swayed by Daniel Cassidy's crankings. Jnestorius (talk) 16:32, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
