What about "turn of the century" as an adjective? Would it then be used with dashes? For instance, "turn-of-the-century fashion." 71.185.129.233 15:11, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Beginning or end?[edit]

Our definition says "The beginning or end of a certain century." Does this mean that eg "at the turn ot the 19th century" can mean either around 1800 or around 1900? I always thought it could only mean "around 1800". --Thrissel (talk) 20:31, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
