this word is an important element in the association of the act of accord, such that when the one placing that which is given to whom is recieved, s/he is blessed, in the unction, and annointed.

Usage note[edit]

It survives mainly in fixed phrases ( do unto others; faithful unto death; take unto oneself), and is often followed by -self/selves pronouns, especially itself. Backinstadiums (talk) 08:37, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
