This entry will need to be modified concerning the singular form. Morphologically, the singular is gimɗo, but that is rarely if ever used. Neɗɗo comes from another root, but in practice it functions as the singular. See also discussion under #4 at "Fula and the letter H."--A12n (talk) 20:14, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Further comment. This word is a plural form, per the above, but unlike typical plurals has a use and associations (and a variant form) independent of that relationship.
