A form-of template for Greek noun forms and adjective forms.


Arguments, in any order:

  • Unnamed argument - the lemma form of the noun, adjective, etc.
  • c = case (nom, gen, acc, voc)
    • plus mixed case forms: nav, gav
  • n = number (s, p)
  • g = gender (m, f, n, c)
  • where relevant:
     d = c, rs, as (for comparative, relative superlative, absolute superlative).
  • nodot = 1 (the value is irrelevant, if nodot is used the final full stop is omitted.)


for nouns

{{el-form-of-nounadj|άνδρας|c=nom|n=p}} gives:

  Nominative plural form of άνδρας (ándras).

{{el-form-of-nounadj|άνδρας|c=nom|n=p|gloss=man}} gives:

  Nominative plural form of άνδρας (ándras) ("man").

{{el-form-of-nounadj|άνδρας|c=nom|n=p|nodot=1}} ("man"). gives:

  Nominative plural form of άνδρας (ándras ("man").

for adjectives

{{el-form-of-nounadj|κακός|c=acc|n=p|g=m}} gives:

  Accusative masculine plural form of κακός (kakós).

for degrees of comparison (eg χειρότερος)

{{el-form-of-nounadj|κακός|d=c|c=gen|g=m|n=s}} gives:

  Genitive masculine singularcomparative form of κακός (kakós).
