Usage
Until https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8217 is fixed there is a mis-match between the codes used by ISO 639, and those used by Wikimedia. This template maps between the two.
- nan=zh-min-nan (Min Nan)
- nb=no (Norwegian Bokmål)
- vro=fiu-vro (Võro)
- cmn=zh (Mandarin)
- lzh=zh-classical (Literary Chinese)
- yue=zh-yue (Cantonese)
- rup=roa-rup (Aromanian)
- roa-nor=nrm (Norman)
- roa-tar=roa-tara (Tarantino)
- kmr=ku (Northern Kurdish)
- sgs=bat-smg (Samogitian)
- nds-de=nds (German Low German)
This template should be used in {{wikipedia}} et. al. so that use of proper language codes can be maintained.
