Multiple renderings[edit]

I'm curious if there's any way for this template to handle multiple kanji arguments? I was just editing the entry for すばる to add the verb form, which has two kanji renderings, and discovered that the current version of this template can't take two kanji arguments. -- Eiríkr Útlendi | Tala við mig 03:43, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Documentation out of date?[edit]

The parameters |hira= and |kata= do not appear to exist. Instead the template requires an unnamed parameter consisting of the plain hiragana or katakana form of the verb. Unlike ja-readings, a hyphen or other delimiter is not used to define where the okurigana begins, and it's not clear to me how it figures that out. — This unsigned comment was added by 71.168.173.2 (talk).

who reads the documentation? Indeed.
As for okurigana, the kana is matched automagically to the page title. —Suzukaze-c 08:31, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
