Broken[edit]

For what it's worth, there's something wrong with the template code here - in the main namespace it displays as:

class="noprint" style="background:#FFF8CC; margin-top:.5em; margin-bottom:.5em; border:solid 1px gray" cellpadding="10"

and in other namespaces it displays as:

{

Deletion debate[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process.

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

How could this ever be used in a productive way? FWIW I've set it up only to work outside the main namespace. --Mglovesfun (talk) 16:24, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Supprimer ! It could have been used as a warning for users who were about to re‐creäte such pages, but administrators can simply leave short notes sayïng why such pages were deleted anyway. This template is hardly necessary. --Pilcrow 16:39, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to be broken anyway: see Template talk:protologism. 81.142.107.230 15:02, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've fixed it. Mglovesfun's attempt to "set it up only to work outside the main namespace" did not work the way he intended. (You can't put the {| … |} table syntax inside a parser-function, because the pipes get interpreted as separating parser-function arguments. You have to either use HTML syntax, <table>…</table>, or else do annoying stuff with {{!}}.) —RuakhTALK 17:57, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
