Thanks for the welcome. The Wiktionary Project is a great idea I will try to participate as time permits.
Sorry about the formatting I am new and just learning my way around. I like this talk feature and have learned my first Wiktionary lesson. The problem with trying to make quick, clear and short definitions, is that language is not generally clear or sort, that is why we have Wiktionary.
I skimmed the move process last night and remember thinking, " Wonder how I will use that". Well I guess I have found out how I will use that. LOL
Here are the changes I propose to clear things up a bit. What do you think?
1. A rite of passage is the process of learning one's Culture. Many ethnic groups initiate this transition to adulthood at around the time of puberty. This process produces ethnic group citizens that have Cultural Health.
2. a rite of passage can be a single event or a combination of events and the reception of information lasting many days, weeks or months.
Example:
African Americans have lost a major continental ritual commonly known as their Rites of Passage.
Robert took his brother John to have his first beer, this is a common American rite of passage.

To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Aunk~enwiktionary that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
