Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! Thank you for the groundwork on the Topics page. Excellent start. --Connel MacKenzie 22:34, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

Redirects from article to category[edit]

Welcome Lucidish. I reverted your redirects from articles to categories (physics and semantics). Unless I am mistaken it is not good practice. Your other contributions (as far as I have seen) are much appreciated. HenkvD 14:47, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

I am not sure either about the policies on categories, but combining articles (words) and categories does not seem a good idea to me. I just added a lot of links in category headers to the article/word. I hope this will help. HenkvD 10:13, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
