Thanks for the input. The problem with bejank is that the evidence for it is a bit thin. Regular Google doesn't generate usable evidence. The cites have to be from durably recorded media. Practically that means google books, google scholar, google news and, especially for new slang, google groups (usenet). Finding acceptable, clear examples on groups can be hard. janky is already in and would easily meet any challenge. jank might be easier to find evidence for than bejank. Bejank may just take a little longer to gain currency. Take a look at the documentation for the RfV process and for quotations. BTW, I think all forms (inf, past, pres part., pres. 3rd, pres.) combined, not individually, need to generate three good quotations to meet the RfV standard.
