• Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
• Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
• Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
• If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.

Gods and Goddesses, et al.

Hi Thorskegga,

Thanks for the work you've been doing to improve our coverage of Pagan terminology. I noticed that many of the entries you've been adding to, for example moon, are in lower case, but the senses you are adding seem to be upper case. This is important because Wiktionary is case-sensitive; for example sun and Sun are different entries. I would think that the deity called "Moon" should be at Moon rather than moon. Thanks for taking the time to fix this, it's really appreciated. BTW, if you have some citations for the sense of leech you added, could you add them to the entry when you have a chance? I have added three quotations for leech - it is easier to find in the form "leechcraft" so I am not surprised you had difficulty unearthing it. I have multiple references for all the words I have entered so if you want any extra evidence for any of my submissions please ask. Thorskegga 09:55, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Wikimedia UK Chapter

A plan is in the works to found a new UK chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation, and we are currently gathering support from the community. If you are interesting in being part of this new UK chapter as a member, a board member or as someone with a general interest in the chapter, please head over to m:Wikimedia UK v2.0 and let us know. We welcome help in making finishing touches to the plans. An election will be held shortly for the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board, which will take the chapter forward, starting to raise funds and generally supporting the Wikimedia community in the UK. Hello, editors here want to know why you claim wain is specifically a word for "A chariot used by the gods and goddesses or a symbolic cart used in rituals and shrines in Heathenry." Have you seen it written down? RTG (talk) 02:07, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
