Hello. For спасибо, you claimed that it comes from Филь Шпас ‘Viel Spaß!’ (нем. - Всего хорошего!). Where did you get this idea? What does спасибо have to do with Spaß? Surely you are not suggesting that Russian спас- is from German Spaß?! —Stephen (Talk) 02:42, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
- I consider that edit was if not vandalism some silly joke. According to M. Fasmer, it's from "съпаси богъ" (i.e. спаси бог in modern spelling) (save (us), God). --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 02:47, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
