Formatting of mentioned terms[edit]

In "form of" templates, etc.[edit]

This section is included only for completeness; this has been resolved by Wiktionary:Votes/2006-12/form-of style. The conclusion was to use bold by default (but this is overrideable by user CSS).

Elsewhere in definition lines[edit]

Please enter * bold ~~~~, * italics ~~~~, * “quotation marks” ~~~~, * plain ~~~~, or the like on the next blank line to indicate your preference for how mentioned terms in definition lines (aside from mentioned terms in "form of" templates) should be formatted.

In usage notes[edit]
