User:Keenesbot for bot status[edit]

  • Nomination: I hereby request the Bot flag for User:Keenesbot for the following purposes:
Auto-generation of conjugated French verbs (no examples yet, but SemperBlotto told me I should get a vote started)

Support[edit]

Abstain[edit]

  1. Symbol abstain vote.svg AbstainRuakhTALK 22:58, 9 July 2007 (UTC) I don't feel comfortable with an untested bot having the bot flag. I think the bot should have a trial run first, so we can be sure it will behave properly. —RuakhTALK 22:58, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm trying to give it a trial run! I'm having difficulty making it work. It seems to me Keenesbot's account needs to be registered as a bot before it can start doing bot jobs (but maybe it's just me being naive) --Keene 18:06, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
It must not have the bot flag during testing phase. Once it has the bot flag, the edits it makes are difficult to notice. --Connel MacKenzie 23:26, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
So, how can we get it to do a trial run without the bot flag? Does anybody know how to turn that parameter off, or has this been solved already? — Beobach972 20:32, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
  2. Symbol abstain vote.svg Abstain H. (talk) 09:05, 12 July 2007 (UTC) I would support since I know Keene has good intentions, but indeed a trial run is needed.

Decision[edit]

  • Failed, apparently stagnated. No trial run has been performed to date, as the user has been absent. DAVilla 09:55, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
