Etymology[edit]

From Ottoman Turkish بولامق (bulamak, to besmear, bedaub, defile, to soil or plaster with something adhesive), from Proto-Turkic *bulga- (to stir, stir up).[1]

Verb[edit]

bulamak (third-person singular simple present bular)

  1. (transitive) to mix, mix up, combine, roll something in
  2. (transitive) to smear, besmear, coat, dredge, dredge with flour
  3. (transitive) to defile, bedaub with
