     El principio de causación es otro de los principios elementales de la Contabilidad. Este principio habla que los hechos se debe [sic] reconocer cuando estos se realicen y no cuando se reciba o se haga el pago, es decir, se causan cuando venda el producto o se preste el servicio, independientemente a si se recibe el pago o no. Se entiende que cuando se realiza el hecho económico, esta ha constituido una obligación o un derecho exigibles.

     The principle of causation is another one of the elemental principles of Accounting. This principle states that events must be recognized when these become realized and not when the payment is received or given; in other words, they are caused when the product is sold or the service is performed, independently of whether the payment is received or not. It is understood that when the economic event becomes realized, this becomes an obligation or right subject to claim.
