Borrowed from Yiddish חזירײַ (khazeray, “filth, mess, dirty trick”), from Hebrew חזיר (khazír, “pig”).

  1. (slang) Junk; trash; anything worthless.
    That movie was nothing but chazzerai.
  2. (slang) Food that is awful
    Who could eat such chazzerai?
  3. (slang) Anything disgusting or loathsome.
    A good deal of contemporary theater strikes me as chazzerai.
