Etymology [edit]
From earlier glu which still preserved in the dialect, from Proto-Albanian *gluna, with dissimilation of the first *-n- in the earlier form *g(a)nuna, an n-stem derivation of Proto-Indo-European *ǵónu. Compare similar dissimilation in Old Irish glún (“knee”).
