kick down (third-person singular simple present kicks down, present participle kicking down, simple past and past participle kicked down)

1. To break or demolish something by physical bodily force, especially stomping.

   The elderly woman was rescued off the floor after a young paramedic managed to kick her door down.

Usage notes

The object can come before or after the particle. If the object is a pronoun, then it must come before the particle.
