From Ancient Greek ληθαργικός (lethargikos), from λήθαργος (lēthargos, “forgetful, lethargic”), from λήθη (lēthē, “a forgetting, forgetfulness”) (from which Lethe (“river in Hades”)) + ἀργός (argos, “not working”)
