Latvian[edit]

Noun[edit]

puštunu valoda f (4th declension)

  1. Pashtun language, Pashto (lit. language of the Pashtuns)

Usage notes[edit]

The terms puštu and puštunu valoda are now preferred to afgāņu valoda as more precise names for the language of the Pashtun people, since the latter could in principle refer to any language spoken by the native populations of Afghanistan.
