Borrowed from Arabic رَمَانِيّ (ramāniyy), رَحْمَانِيّ (raḥmāniyy), رَهْمَانِيّ (rahmāniyy), رَهْمَانَج (rahmānaj), رَهْنَامَج (rahnāmaj), رَاهْنَامَج (rāhnāmaj, pilot guide, handbook showing the sailing way, periplus), from Middle Persian [Term?] (/⁠rāhnāmag⁠/, literally way-book) whence Persian رهنامه (rahnâme), راهنامه (râhnâme).
