    • 1587, Raphael Holinshed, chapter 1.12, Chronicles[1]:
      ...and so they go to the sea betwixt two hils, whereof that on the one side lieth out like an arme or cape, and maketh the fashion of an hauenet or peere, whither shiplets sometime doo resort for succour.
