shuffle steer (third-person singular simple present shuffle steers, present participle shuffle steering, simple past and past participle shuffle steered)

  1. To steer a vehicle controlled by a steering wheel in a manner that transfers grip from one hand to the other as the wheel is turned. Contrasted with shoulder steer which maintains grip at the same locations on the wheel as it is turned.
