  1. feeling tense/anxious/nervous about something that one has to do or prepare for
    Hann er mjög stressaður fyrir prófinu. ― He's quite anxious about the upcoming exam.

Usage notes[edit]

Unlike the English term stressed, stressaður only refers to feeling anxious about an upcoming situation.
