two o'clock

  1. (In both the 12-hour clock and the 24-hour clock) The start of the third hour of the day; 2:00 a.m. (02:00).
    The bar closes at two o'clock (= "The bar closes at 2:00 a.m.").
  2. (Only in the 12-hour clock) The start of the fifteenth hour of the day; 2:00 p.m. (14:00).
    The next train comes at two o'clock (= "The next train comes at 14:00").
  3. (informal) A position ahead and rightward (horizontal clock orientation) or above and rightward (vertical clock orientation) (from the location of the 2 mark on a clock face)
    We've got a bogey at two o'clock.
