wordmark (plural wordmarks)

  1. (marketing) A logotype; a standardized graphic representation of the name of a company or product used for purposes of easy identification. It is often text with unique typographic or graphical treatment.

  2. (computing) A bit in each memory location on some variable-word-length computers (e.g. IBM 1401, IBM 1620) used to mark the end of a word.
