  1. (anatomy) ear
    • Peshitta, Matthew 11:15:
      ܡܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܐܕ̈ܢܐ ܕܢܫܡܥ ܢܫܡܥ.

Usually, the plural ܐܕܢܐ (ʾeḏnē) is used for literal senses while ܐܕܢܬܐ (ʾeḏnāṯā) and ܐܕܢܗܬܐ (ʾeḏnāhāṯā) are used for figurative senses.
