Sino-Korean word from 電子, an orthographic borrowing from Japanese 電子 (denshi).

- (SK Standard/Seoul) IPA(key): [ˈt͡ɕɘ(ː)ɲd͡ʑa̠]
- Phonetic hangul: [전(ː)자]
- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
