Description
Italiano: Atalanta, ninfa imbattibile nella corsa fu sconfitta solo da Ippomene, tramite uno stratagemma ordito da Afrodite. Atalanta, avrebbe sposato solo colui che l'avrebbe battuta in una gara di corsa. Afrodite fornì i pomi d'oro a Ippomane, questi durante la corsa getta i pomi nel giardino delle Esperidi, Atalanta si china per raccoglierli e viene così sorpassata, perdendo la gara.
