Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *badram (“feast”). Compare Karakhanid بَذْرَمْ (baḏram), Sogdian [script needed] (ptrʾm /patrăm/, “calm, peace”), Persian پدرام (pedrâm, “lucky, happy”). See the reconstructed entry for more.
