Etymology

Derived from Proto-Yeniseian *ɯnpʰa (twice), derived from Proto-Yeniseian *Hɯn (two) + Proto-Yeniseian *pʰa (once, ...times; often).[1] Alternatively, analyzable as a numerical compound of ын (ɨ̄n, two) +‎ ха (, ...times).
