Etymology[edit]
An Iranian borrowing: compare Middle Persian [Book Pahlavi needed] (dypʾhl /dēbahr/, “anger”), Parthian 𐫅𐫏𐫁𐫍𐫡𐫃 (dybhrg /dēbahrag/, “banished”).

- լինել ի դիպահոջ ― linel i dipahoǰ ― to be arrested, detained or under arrest

Attested only in the locative ի դիպահոջ (i dipahoǰ), also spelled ի դիպահւոջ (i dipahwoǰ).
