Cognate with Uzbek xachir, Kazakh қашыр (qaşyr), Kyrgyz качыр (kacır), and Tatar качыр (qaçır), which are also from the Mongolian, and Turkish katır, Azerbaijani qatır, and Turkmen gatyr, which are inherited from Proto-Turkic.
