Usage notes
[edit]- അവൾ is used to refer to a female person who is far from the speaker (distal).
- It is generally used for someone of the same age, someone younger than the speaker.
- For older women, or to show respect in formal contexts, the honorific അവർ (avaṟ) is used instead.
