Etymology[edit]

Borrowing from Uyghur ياخشى (yaxshi, good). From a Xinjiang musical dance program on the 2010 CCTV New Year's Gala, named The Party's Policy - Yaxshi! (政策亞克西), felt by many to be overly propagandizing.
