Usage notes[edit]

This is normally used as the translation of "you're welcome" in English. This expression is not used in a regular basis. In Korean, this expression does not typically exist. However, one can say nothing or 괜찮아요 (gwaenchanayo, it's okay), 아니에요 (anieyo, don't mention it), (ne, yes; it's all right, you're welcome), or rarely 별 말씀을요 (byeol malsseumeuryo) in general.
