Etymology[edit]

From Ancient Greek -της (-tēs) (sense 1.1) and Illyrian (sense 1.2), for which compare also -tae, -stae, -stinī. Compare Latin poeta from Ancient Greek ποιητής (poiētḗs), and Latin agricola from Latin -a.
