On (Chinese) readings are conventionally given in katakana, while Kun (Japanese) readings are traditionally given in hiragana.

Index pages are by initial consonant (5 character column of the 5×10 = 50 square gojūon grid), so the カ page contains all on readings starting with カ キ ク ケ コ.
