Appendix talk:English words with diacritics

I cut out a bunch of prose from the original Wikipedia article that I don't think really fits here. It can be found at w:English words with diacritics. Also, all the terms listed here need to be linked, but that's a big job manually. Anyone know of an automated way to do that? Dmcdevit 08:31, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is hors d’œuvre in this list? 28bytes (talk) 16:40, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hard to say why this very incomplete list would be of use to anyone. For each possible diacritic, we have more complete categories at Category:English terms by their individual characters. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 04:45, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Strong oppose: It's a dynamic list and regularly expanding. It's absolutely of use. 110.142.225.47 09:20, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Also, this is a list of words in common usage, as opposed to the various quasi-English words listed under those separate categories. 110.142.225.47 08:22, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
