Chinese / / 耀 (OC /*lewk-s/ (B-S) > MC /jiᴇuH/ obsolete or nonstandard characters (ᴇ), replace H with ʜ, invalid IPA characters (ᴇH) > Modern BJ /i̯ɑʊ̯⁵¹/, "to shine, bright"). Wyang (talk) 02:41, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Palatovelar[edit]

There should be another root (with palatovelar) *lewk'- as well as *lewk- to explain words like "lynx" in Balto-Slavic, *lysъ in Slavic (not listed here) and other satem reflexes in "unsorted" (what about Armenian "loys"? Can it be derived from *lewk-?). 188.17.178.243 15:59, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
