The second class of Dutch strong verbs is the third largest. There are two variations of the paradigm:
- /i/ - /oː/ - /oː/ - /oː/, for example bieden - bood - boden - geboden
- /œʏ/ - /oː/ - /oː/ - /oː/, for example stuiven - stoof - stoven - gestoven
