Category talk:German ditransitive verbs

In my opinion, this category should only contain verbs with a double accusative, such as "lehren" (er lehrt mich das Kochen) or "schelten" (er schilt mich einen Lügner). Verbs with dative object aren't considered transitive in German grammar, and hence a transitive verb with an additional dative object isn't ditransitive. 77.13.190.79 18:00, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, although confusingly, the category description prescibes one direct and one indirect object: German verbs that indicate actions, occurrences or states of two grammatical objects simultaneously, one direct and one indirect. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 19:56, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
